Abolon has been the adviser to the shareholders of COAT-X, Switzerland, on its sale to the French surface functionalization and protection solutions provider Plasmalex group. The transaction has been closed on 25 April 2024. It was agreed not to disclose the purchase price.
COAT-X is a leading solutions provider for high performance thin-film encapsulation technologies. The offering includes a broad range of parylene, ultra-tight multilayer and ALD barrier contract coating solutions and equipment to various industries ranging from medical technology over electronics to micromechanics.
